Network Marketing Terminologies

 

Terms Definition
Downline
Someone that you recruited or someone that is below you in your team
Upline
Someone that recruited you or is above you in your team
Sponsor
The act of recruiting
Distributor
Also called Independent Distributor/Affiliate. Refers to a member of a MLM company.
Business Centres
Usually associated with Binary plans. A Business Centre will have two legs and is used to calculate commission.
Spillover
Occurs when there are limited people you can place in your Level 1. The remaining friends that you recruit goes into Level 1 of your downlines.
